Libya’s Tripoli-based Libyan government announced yesterday that the multinational military exercise “Flintlock” will begin in the middle of this month, with Libya hosting part of it for the first time
The military exercise is under the supervision of the US Africa Command (AFRICOM), and with the participation of African and European countries along with international partners.
The Tripoli government reported that the exercises will take part around the city of Sirte, in central Libya. They will focus on:
