Media reports on Saturday indicated that the death toll from a coal mine explosion in China had risen to 82, in one of the many recurring accidents plaguing the Chinese mining industry.
Reports stated that “the explosion occurred inside a coal mine in northeastern China, while rescue teams faced difficulties due to the density of gases inside the mine.”
