The Libyan Air Ambulance Service announced yesterday the commencement of international helicopter flights. Previously, it has been conducting ambulance flights using aeroplanes.
It said this comes as part of its efforts to develop its operational capabilities and enhance its response time to critical medical cases and considered it a significant step reflecting its high level of preparedness and professional competence.
