The National Investment Commission (NIC) has granted an investment licence for what is described as Iraq’s first private hospital dedicated to addiction treatment and mental health care.
The licence was awarded for the “Ritaj Baghdad Health Educational Project“, to be developed by Abraj Al-Ritaj Company.
According to the Commission, the project will be located in Baghdad on a 28-dunam site on Al-Ghazaliya Expressway and will comprise an integrated health and education complex including:
